OUR MANAGING DIRECTOR
Syed Muhamad Farid, an Electrical Engineering graduate from University Technology of Malaysia, founding Gastec Petroleum Sdn Bhd in 2013, with wealth of experience and hands-on exposures in oil and gas industry ranging from sales, marketing, design, technical, procurement, installation, commissioning and operations of LPG and LNG plants and sales distribution network while serving Shell to providing full pledged EPCC requirements for LPG and LNG supply chain.
Besides being a SHELL LPG Global technical member, he is also currently an active Technical Committee member for Malaysia Standard; MS 830, a responsible committee that setup a standard for LPG technical in Malaysia, a Certified Gas Competence Person, both LPG and NG by Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia, and lifetime Ansara, UTM and Program Kepimpinan Yayasan Tun Razak Alumni.
